YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, WE HAVE ANSWERS..
40W & 2W IR Laser
wHAT MATERIALS CAN YOU LASER ENGRAVE & CUT?
Our 40W diode laser & 2W IR laser can beautifully engrave wood, acrylic, leather, linen, slate, and coated metals. It can also precisely cut thinner materials like woods (up to 1/4 inch) and dark acrylics.
ACRYLIC & METAL
CAN YOU CUT CLEAR ACRYLIC OR BARE METAL WITH THE LASERS?
No. Diode & our IR lasers cannot cut or engrave clear/blue acrylic because the light passes right through it. We also cannot cut or deeply engrave bare metals, though we can mark treated or painted metals. For thick or clear materials, we typically utilize our CNC router system instead. Our IR laser can provide high detail on many metals. Because we do pride ourselves in getting it done! We CAN provide custom projects that do require metal cutting work.

CNC MACHINE (DWC 2440)
What can the CNC machine do that the laser cannot?
Our CNC wood system excels at carving, shaping, and cutting thick hardwoods, plywood, and plastics that are too dense for the laser. It allows us to create deep 3D relief carvings and heavy-duty structural pieces.

B.M.O.M Bring My Own Materials
Can I bring in my own materials or items for engraving?
Yes, we accept customer-supplied items on a case-by-case basis. However, we must verify the material is safe to process (for example, we cannot laser faux leather containing PVC, as it releases toxic gas). We also require a customer-supplied release to be signed prior to working the project.

DESIGNS/FILE REQUIREMENTS
What file formats do you accept for custom designs?
We prefer high-resolution vector files such as SVG, AI, DXF, or PDF. For simple photo engravings, high-quality JPEG or PNG files work well. If additional time is required due to file quality or the need for manipulation, additional fees apply.

LEGALITIES
Can you engrave a copyrighted logo or sports team?
We cannot reproduce copyrighted or trademarked logos unless you own the rights or have written permission from the trademark holder.

PROCESSING
What is yourWhat is your typical turnaround time?
Standard orders are usually processed and ready within 3 to 7 business days. Larger CNC projects or bulk engraving orders may take 2 to 3 weeks depending on our current queue.

IN A HURRY
Do you offer rush ordering?
Yes. If you need an item by a strict deadline, please let us know before placing the order. Rush fees may apply depending on the complexity of the project and our schedule. Not all projects are available for rush service.

GETTING YOUR PROJECT
Do you ship, or is local pickup available?
We offer both! You can communicate your preferences with our staff to save on shipping, or we can ship your items anywhere nationwide via major carriers.
